Studio owner murdered in Khulna

He was rushed to the Khulna General Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

His son photographer Nurul Islam Biddut and daughter-in-law Minara Islam were in another room during the incident.

Rafique Bepari disowned his son by court affidavit and lodged several general diaries with Khulna thana during the last few years seeking security of his life.

His daughter Minu Mamtaz, a lecturer of Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Khulna told this correspondent that her father's murder is a sequel to long standing dispute over landed property.

Minu filed an FIR at 3 pm yesterday as complainant suspecting her only brother Biddut and his wife Minara in the murder.

On the other hand, Biddut also filed a complaint suspecting unidentified men in the murder of his father. Biddut's written complaint has been treated as general diary, UP Ataur Rahman said.
