Over 1,200 held
Police arrested 1,277 more people, including four identified criminals, during their ongoing countrywide drive in last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.
They also recovered four firearms, four other weapons and three bullets. Three cases were also filed against six people under the Arms Act, said a PID handout.
