'Aamra Zia Hobo' denies links with Mahi Chy

They said the organisation was set up under the guidance of Prime Minister Khaleda Zia to establish the ideals of late president Ziaur Rahman and it will continue to function under her guidance.

Referring to a news item published in a section of national dailies yesterday about a function that Mahi organised in the name of this organisation, the two former office bearers in a statement said Mahi was not even a member of the organisation, leave alone its president.

They said Mahi has exposed his dishonesty and resorted to political blackmailing by organising such function under the banner of the organisation and claiming to be its leader.

They asked Mahi to refrain from using its name.
