AL protests killing of BCL leader
Awami League General Secretary Abdul Jalil MP has protested the killing of Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Shahidul Islam in Naogaon and demanded exemplary punishment to the killers.
Shahidul Islam, president of Moroil Bandar thana BCL, was killed by armed criminals on Wednesday.
In a statement yesterday, Jalil said the alliance government has created "an anarchic situation by unleashing repression on the leaders and workers of Awami League and its front organisations."
He prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
