BNP bodies protest B'Chowdhury's comment

In a recent interview with the Manobjamin, the former president termed the present parliament as "inefficient majority" and their opinion as "conspiracy".

In a joint statement on Thursday, leaders of BNP's front organisations strongly protested the comments and said the observation of the former president is a clear demonstration of his disrespect for democracy.

"Such comments, in fact, unveiled the attitude of vengeance and opportunist mentality of the former president. He is now engaged in destabilising the political atmosphere of the country, they added.

The leaders said what the former president is now telling is nothing but the expression of his pain and anguish for removing him from the power.
