Hasina leaves for Germany this morning

The AL president is scheduled to fly in a British Airways flight this morning, party sources said.

During her stay abroad, senior presidium member of the party Abdus Samad Azad will discharge the responsibilities of the party chief as per a decision of the AL presidium meeting held in the city yesterday evening.

Hasina will exchange views on bilateral and international current affairs with German politicians, businessmen and civil society members during her visit, the AL sources said.

She will return to Dhaka on October 30.
