'Drop Farazi's name from charge sheet'
The Ittefaq unit of Dhaka Union of Journalists yesterday demanded the name of Farazi Azmal Hossain, vice-president of BFUJ and senior journalist of the Ittefaq, to be dropped from the supplementary charge sheet of the murder case of Shamsur Rahman, former Jessore correspondent of the Janakantha.
At a meeting in the news room of the Ittefaq, the speakers termed the implication of Farazi as an ill-motive conspiracy to divert the case to a different direction.
The meeting was presided over by DUJ Ittefaq unit Chief Alamgir Hossain.
