Acid thrown on class seven girl

A gang of three youths entered the bedroom of Monira Begum, 15, daughter of Emdad Hossain and a student of Rokeya Girls' High School at Bashudevpur, and poured acid on her face, chest and both hands Sunday night.

The family members rushed to her hearing her scream. But they could not catch any of the three.

Monira was rushed to Gopalganj General Hospital. She was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital yesterday evening.
