Two top CID officials will visit Joypurhat tomorrow
Two top CID officials are to visit Joypurhat tomorrow to have firsthand knowledge about the activities of Jama'atul Mujahidin and the clash between its militants and police.
They are DIG Abdul Mannan and Police Superintendent Akhtaruz-zaman.
Police Superintendent Abdul Jalil Mondal said the purpose of their visit is to make an overall review of the clash that took place between police and Jama'atul Mujahidin militants at Moheshpur village in Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat on the night of August 14.
Even after 15 days of the incident, police failed to recover the arms the Mujahidin militants had snatched away from them during the clash.
