3 killed, 4 hurt in Comilla road mishap
Three persons were killed and four others injured in a road accident near Parowara under Burichang Upazila on the Comilla-Sylhet road yesterday afternoon.
The accident occurred when a Comilla-bound bus hit an autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction. All the three passengers of the autorickshaw were killed on the spot and four others, including the driver, injured.
The dead were identified as Mir Swapan, 35, Mir Anisur Rahman, 40, and Dudh Mia, 60. They were going to their residence at Ganga Sagar of Devidwar Upazila from Comilla. The bodies were sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
The injured were admitted to local hospital. Police seized the bus and the autorickshaw.
A case was filed with Burichang Police Station.
