'Withdraw decision to lay off 3 jute mills'

In a statement, SSF Pesident Abdullah Sarkar and Secretary General Zahedul Hoque Milu, urged the people to resist the move.

They said the government is closing industries one after another on the advice of World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

The government on Saturday took the decision to lay off the mills named Peoples Jute Mills, Star Jute Mills and Eastern Jute Mills.
