Proceedings of motorcade attack case stayed
The High Court Division yesterday stayed proceedings on attack on the motorcade of Begum Khaleda Zia in June 2001 against Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim MP of Awami League.
The court also issued a rule upon the government to show cause why the case against Selim should not be quashed.
The court order came upon a petition filed by Selim, who earlier secured bail.
Advocate Mahbubey Alam with Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapash appeared for the petitioner.
