Robbery on bus on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway
Robbers took away money and other valuables from the passengers of a Dhaka bound bus from Narsingdi at Bagbari under Araihazar Upazila on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway yesterday.
They beat some passengers and the driver as they tried to resist the gang.
Police quoted the passengers as saying a gang of 10 armed robbers in the guise of passengers boarded the bus from Narsingdi. When the bus reached Bagbari, they (robbers) started looting money and valuables from the passengers at gun point.
A case was filed with Araihazar Police Station.
