Tailor shot dead in slum

According to police, the victim, Tota Mian, 28, was an accused in a number of cases including robbery.

Witnesses said three youths entered Tota's house at around 11:30am and shot him six times leaving him dead on the spot.

His sister took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors confirmed his death.

Police believe he might have been killed as a result of enmity.

A case was filed with the Demra Police Station, but none was arrested till filing of the report at 8:00pm last night.
