Police informant shot dead in N'ganj
A police informant was gunned down by unidentified assailants at Tanbazar ferry ghat at about 9pm on Sunday.
According to police and witnesses, the dead was identified as Khorshed Alam, 30, son of Siddik Mia of Baburail under Sadar Police Station.
The body was sent to the General Hospital for autopsy. Yunus, elder brother of the victim, filed a murder case with Sadar Police Station the same night.
Police arrested four persons from different parts of Deobhog in connection with the murder yesterday.
