2 killed, 40 hurt in Chuadanga bus mishap

The dead were identified as Nazrul Islam, 40, of village Amirpur and Sirajul Islam, 38, of village Garabaria of Chuadanga sadar upazila.

According to police and witnesses, the accident occurred at about 9.30 am when a Kaliganj bound passenger bus from Chuadanga overturned at Purapara on the highway, killing the two on the spot and injuring 40 others.

The seriously injured were admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
