Sohrab Hasan and Shehabuddin Ahmed have translated the book in Bangla.

Only two publication houses of this subcontinent have got the rights for translating the novel - Ankur Prakashani, Dhaka in Bangla and Oxford University Press, Lahore in Urdu.
