Chargesheet against 4 for Sultana murder

Inspector Abdul Quddus Khan submitted the charge sheet before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's (CMM) Court, Dhaka, yesterday afternoon. In the charge sheet, the four accused are the cook of the house, Alauddin Munshi, caretaker Mehedi Mamun Rana, their friends Nasir Uddin and Emdadul Haq.

In the charge sheet, 26 people were shown as prosecution witnesses.

The accused earlier made confessional statements before the metropolitan magistrate on different dates.

Sultana Khan Panni, 70, wife of former deputy speaker Humayun Khan Panni, was strangled at her Dhanmondi residence in May 19, this year.
