Youth shot dead on DU campus

Witnesses said three gunmen, who came in a black taxicab, sprayed bullets on the youth, aged about 30, at about 10pm, leaving him dead on the spot

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Vice Chancellor of the university Prof SMA Faiz and Pro-Vice Chancellor AFM Prof Yusuf Haider visited the spot.

Police have been put on alert on the campus after the incident.
