2 killed,30 hurt in Jessore road mishap
A road accident on the Jessore-Jhenidah Highway in Kotwali Police Station yesterday left two persons killed and 30 others injured.
Witnesses said the accident occurred near Barinagore Bazaar when a Khulna-bound bus plunged into a roadside ditch.
One of the dead was identified as Mukta, 12.
The injured were admitted to Jessore Combined Military Hospital and Jessore General Hospital.
