Young man shot dead in city

Sources said Habibur Rahman Kuddus, 32, son of one Chan Miah and a supporter of the ruling BNP, was called out of his residence by the killers at around 10:00pm. The miscreants sprayed bullets on him just a few hundred metres from his residence. Kuddus fell down on the ground after 10 to 15 bullets him in the head, chest and legs, the sources added.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, but doctors there said he was dead.

Police said Kuddus was also engaged in criminal activities.
