Charges framed against 4 accused in Rumi suicide case in Khulna

The accused are Rony, Hasan, Taimur and Mizan.

The accused molested Rumi at her father's Pabla residence under Daulatpur Police Station on April 14 this year and gave death threat to her father, Abdul Bari, an official of BFIDC.

Immediately after the incident, a tormented Rumi committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her bedroom.

Abdul Bari filed a case with Daulatpur Police Station accusing Rony, Hasan, Taimur and Mizan.

The investigation officer (IO) submitted a charge sheet to the Speedy Trial Tribunal against the four on April 30.
