Teenage girl raped in city

Monir, Mamun and Babu, three local youths who are known to the family, allegedly went to the residence at around 3:00am. When they were let in, the three confined the victim's mother to a room and raped the girl, police said.

They also looted cash and valuables said to be worth Tk 20,000.

The victim's father lives in Saudi Arabia.

The victim's mother filed a case with the Mirpur Police Station accusing the three. Police could not arrest any of the accused till 8:30 last night.
