Painting exhibition
The first solo exhibition of paintings by Shaela Sharmin begins at the Alliance Francaise auditorium in Chittagong on June 7.
More than 30 artworks in oil, acrylic and mixed media will be put on display at the five-day exhibition titled 'Being and Nothingness'.
Social scientist Prof. Dr Anupam Sen of Chittagong University (CU) will inaugurate the show while Prof. Mizanur Rahim and Prof. Monsur-ul-Karim of the department of fine arts of CU, will be present as special guests.

The exhibition will remain open from 4.00pm to 8.00pm daily till June 11.
Shaela Sharmin, a lecturer of the department of fine arts of CU, is also a theatre worker.
