Qatar Airways announces 2 flights daily on Dhaka-Doha route

Qatar Airways has announced to operate two flights daily on the Dhaka-Doha route due to growing number of passengers.

Passengers travelling to and from Dhaka can enjoy more flexible connections to key destinations in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK, and the US via Hamad International Airport, the airlines said in a release.

"We are delighted to be increasing flights to Bangladesh and this double daily service to Dhaka will help reunite many passengers who have been unable to return home due to global travel restrictions," Qatar Airways Regional Manager, Indian Subcontinent, Karthik Viswanathan said in the release.

"At Qatar Airways, we continue to reinforce our commitment to get our passengers safely to where they need to be. We understand the need for citizens and residents of Bangladesh to be able to connect seamlessly to key destinations in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK, and the US," he also said.

The airlines will use Boeing 777 offering 42 seats in business class and 354 seats in economy class to operate fights on Doha route.

Qatar Airlines, a multiple award-winning airline including 'World's Best Airline' resumed its operation from Dhaka on June 16 with weekly three flights. The number of flights were increased later gradually.
