Red warning issued as UK braces for ‘Storm Eunice’
Britain's meteorological service yesterday issued a rare "red weather" warning with the approaching Storm Eunice packing wind gusts of 100 miles (160 kilometres) per hour and set to cause "danger to life".
The impending storm forced Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, to postpone a trip to South Wales today "in the interests of public safety", his office said.
