Lebanon unites hands for change

Demonstrators form a human chain during ongoing anti-government protests in Beirut, Lebanon, yesterday. Tens of thousands of Lebanese protesters successfully formed a human chain running north-south across the entire country yesterday to symbolise newfound national unity. They joined hands from Tripoli to Tyre, a 170-kilometre chain running through the main protest hub in Beirut, as part of an unprecedented cross-sectarian mobilisation for a complete overhaul of the political system.
