Deepal launches S05 plug-in hybrid in Bangladesh

Deepal has officially launched its Plug-in Hybrid model, the Deepal S05 at a launch event held on November 8, 2025 at the Deepal Bangladesh showroom located at Rangs Babylonia, Tejgaon, Dhaka.

According to DHS Autos, its exclusive distributor, the Deepal S05 is powered by a 4-cylinder, 16-valve VVT PHEV engine paired with an electric motor delivering 160/218 HP and 320 Nm of torque. It houses a 27.28 kWh battery, providing a combined driving range of up to 1,234 km on a full tank and charge.

With its futuristic design, the vehicle offers a premium looking interior with synthetic leather seats, a multifunction steering wheel, a 15.4-inch touchscreen sunflower display, 14-speaker sound system, and rear AC vents. The panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade adds to its premium appeal.

Inside Deepal S05

The Deepal S05 features a noise-free cabin equipped with technologies, including advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), remote straight in & out, a 540° camera view, and multiple safety and control systems, as per a press handout.

The vehicle will be available in five colours: Moonlight White, Deep Space Black, Andromeda Blue, Mercury Silver, and Ganymede Gray. Deepal S05 includes 8 years warranty on the EV motor and battery, 5 years warranty (T&C), and 3 years of free service. DHS Autos will provide free home charger installation for consumers, and will maintain a charging network across 22 locations nationwide, states the press handout.

The Deepal S05 is priced at BDT 52 lakh (excluding registration) at all authorised Deepal showrooms across Bangladesh.
