It seems like 2023 went by the blink of an eye – more so for the showbiz industry, which saw its ups and downs. Like any of us, celebrities are also looking to take the time to appreciate and reflect on the past year, to make their own New Year’s resolutions. We talk to six of the biggest stars in the industry about what they will do this year.

The first Bangladeshi cyber-thriller movie, “Antarjal”, is slated for its exclusive online premiere on the digital entertainment platform Toffee starting tomorrow (December 21). Viewers can enjoy the film for free across various networks on Android and iOS devices and Android TV. The film will serve as a gift to audiences nationwide in celebration of Victory Day.

According to sources, this show is being produced by Chorki. After his web-film "Redrum", it is Vicky's second collaboration with the platform.

After much delay, the Siam Ahmed and Bidya Sinha Mim starrer "Antarjal", is finally releasing today in 34 theatres nationwide. Moreover, "Antarjal" will also be released in the United States and Canada, on the same date.

The trailer of "Punormilone" depicts a love triangle between Tasnia Farin, Siam Ahmed and Shashwta Datta which divides the once happy gang of cousins and their families apart.

The teaser of "Punormilone" portrays a gang of cousins reuniting in a wedding ceremony and how they interact with each other. It highlights the heartwarming bond between cousins and their sweet mischiefs together.

The stars of the silver screen are gearing up to showcase their cricketing prowess on the field. The "Celebrity Cricket League" (CCL), a star-studded cricket league, featuring Bangladesh's showbiz stars, is all set to take the indoor stadium of the capital Mirpur by storm. The tournament is scheduled to run from September 26 to September 28, promising three days filled with thrilling cricket action and entertainment.

After long wait, fans will finally got to see the world of "Antarjal". The trailer for the film, begins with a shot of a futuristic city from which the masked hacker is trying to destroy the old world. 

Prior to its release, the makers decided to shoot a promotional song with the core team members at BFDC on Tuesday. 

In the world of cinema, anticipation often mounts as release dates draw near. This September, film enthusiasts in Bangladesh will have a tough choice to make as two highly awaited movies, “Antarjal” and “Jawan”, are set to compete for their attention and adoration.
