The left-arm seamer has emerged as a multi-format pacer for the Tigers since making his debut in 2021 and spoke to The Daily Star's Mazhar Uddin about his bowling and a few other topics during an exclusive interview. Pacers enjoying conditions, but rain threat looms

Bangladesh are gearing up for the second ODI against Ireland in Chelmsford today after the first ODI was abandoned due to inclement weather and while rain remains a concern, the conditions allow the new ball to move quite a bit and provide extra bounce on the surface. Even if it proves difficult for the top-order, pacer Shoriful Islam was enjoying the experience and the challenge.

Taskin leaves for England as Shoriful, Ebadot overcome injuries

Bangladesh paceman Taskin Ahmed left for England today to get an assessment of the back injury he incurred during the series against South Africa. Taskin’s injury saw him sit out of the second Test in South Africa and he was subsequently ruled out for the upcoming Test series at home against Sri Lanka, slated to begin with the first Test at Chattogram from May 15.
