A Russian destroyer in the Aegean Sea opens fire to avoid a collision with a Turkish fishing boat, the defence ministry said, as a bitter dispute over the shooting down of a Russian warplane raged on.

The Turkish military has released an audio recording of what it says were warnings to a Russian warplane before it was shot down on the Syrian border.
