Javier Cabrera's charges will take on Kuwait in the first semifinal on Saturday before India and Lebanon will square off in the second semifinal later in the day.

The two forwards scored two goals and combined to set up an own goal as Bangladesh took a step closer to a semifinal berth in the SAFF Championship after being given an early scare by the Bhutanese. 

Though Rakib Hossain, who had also left the pitch with a cramp, attended the recovery session with the team at the Hindustan Aeronautical Ltd Sports Club ground, Tariq missed training and is likely to miss the team's last group match against Bhutan.

Forward Rakib Hossain was the latest to join Bangladesh's mounting injury list after centre-back Tutul Hossain Badsha was all but ruled out of the SAFF Championship, scheduled to begin in India on June 21.
