People of Trishal in Mymensingh are set to celebrate the birth anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at the national level for the first time in nearly two decades, reviving memories of the bard’s formative years in the area that still proudly preserves his legacy.

Various organisations in the capital have arranged diverse events surrounding Nazrul’s birthday. Bengal Foundation has also organised a two-day event.
