Several changes have been made in the Zimbabwe side for the T20Is against Ireland. The Chevrons had recently failed to qualify for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, after failing to make it past the Africa Region Qualifier.

England batsman Joe Root will face Ireland in Wednesday's one-day international series opener as he eyes extra practice ahead of the World Cup.

Tamim Iqbal completed 15000 international runs before falling to a run-out.

Tamim, who turns 34 today, will also look to personally recover from a lean patch of form.
