Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami has been appointed the next High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom.

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami today (August 20, 2022) hoped that the traditional spirit of happiness, friendship, peace and harmony will only grow in a Bangladesh that remains true to the remarkable founding vision and values of its Liberation War.

India’s incumbent Deputy Chief of Mission in the US, Sudhakar Dalela – a 1993 batch Indian Foreign Service officer – is expected to be the country’s next High Commissioner to Bangladesh, replacing Vikram K Doraiswami, Hindustan Times reported today.
