A state-initiated documentary paying tribute to celebrated author and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed has been released under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, marking a significant step in an ongoing effort to formally recognise Bangladesh’s artistic legends. Directed by “Debi” filmmaker Anam Biswas, the 25-minute documentary revisits Humayun’s life, legacy and enduring influence across literature, television and cinema.
