JK Rowling ‏has confirmed that the Harry Potter play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, will open in London next year.

Katherine Waterston will play the lead role opposite Eddie Redmayne in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the "Harry Potter" spin-off from Warner Bros.

The Oscar-winning actor will play Newt Scamander in the film series, which takes place 70 years before the Harry Potter films.
