Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom has arrived in Bangladesh after eight years for a four-day visit as part of his duties as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, the organisation confirmed in a press release.

Acclaimed Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan has been reappointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), marking her third consecutive term in the role.
