Hundreds of Muslims attended Eid congregations at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque as well as other mosques in Bangladesh instead of Eidgah grounds today amid a risk of Covid-19 infection.

Muslims in Bangladesh are celebrating the biggest religious festival without any outdoor activities this year to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

This year’s minimum Fitra has been fixed at Tk 70 per person.
