The Bangladesh under-20 women’s football team will leave for Thailand on Saturday to take part in their maiden AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup. 

Bangladesh U-20 women’s team head coach Peter Butler expressed satisfaction with his side’s performance following a 3-1 win over hosts Laos in their opening match of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers in Vientiane on Tuesday.

Mosammat Sagorika scored a brace as Bangladesh got off to a winning start in their AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers with a 3-1 win over hosts Laos in their first Group H fixture at Lao National Stadium in Vientiane on Wednesday.

Bangladesh coach Peter Butler got his ‘players moving’ through the first practice session in Vientiane on Sunday morning, a day after reaching the Laos capital for the upcoming AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers.
