Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud is uncertain for the upcoming Asia Cup, to be held in the UAE from August 27, after the young pacer suffered an injury during the Tigers’ practice session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today. 

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Sridharan Sriram, a former India cricketer and a long-term assistant coach of Australia, to lead the Bangladesh national team in the forthcoming Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup.

The Bangladesh think-tank is considering changes to the batting order for the Asia Cup, slated to start on August 27, with the intention of changing the Tigers' dwindling fortunes in the shortest format of the game.
