The Bangladesh ‘A’ team returned to the country after losing the Asia Cup Rising Stars final to Pakistan Shaheens. The Akbar Ali-led side were involved in two Super Over finishes – first in the semifinals against India and then the final against Pakistan. The skipper felt that the teams in the tournament were not used to Super Over.

Four members, including three players, of the Bangladesh ‘A’ team for the upcoming Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament were unable to travel with the squad to Qatar on Wednesday due to visa delay.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member  A Team for the Asia Cup Rising Stars T20 competition.
