ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR), Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) and Progressive Voice today said Myanmar must ensure that human rights of the Rohingya community are protected and respected while safe conditions should be in place in Rakhine State before any refugees are repatriated from Bangladesh.

ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights call upon the Southeast Asian regional community to mount pressure on Myanmar for ensuring safe and voluntary repatriation of the Rohingyas from Bangladesh.
