Dozens of African migrants are feared to have drowned after their boat capsized off the coast of Tunisia after setting of for Europe from Libya, a government source and the Tunisian Red Crescent have said on Thursday.

The UN refugee agency says it feared around 500 migrants from Africa had drowned in the Mediterranean after witnesses said their overcrowded boat sank.
