No Nobel Prize for Literature will be given this year, because of a scandal over sexual misconduct allegations that has seen a string of board members resign from the board of the Swedish Academy that makes the award, the Academy says.

The Swedish Academy is to announce on Friday whether or not it may postpone the 2018 Nobel Literature Prize, its administrative director says, after it plunged into a crisis over links to a man accused of sexual assault.
