Shakib's Memorable Salute
While the fact that we have won the second test match in the recent series against England, the most memorable moment from the entire series was when Shakib Al Hasan saluted Ben Stokes after dismissing his wicket. That resulted in the entire nation taking photos of themselves saluting and turning Shakib's wit into a trend, considering  the recent flak between Stokes and the Bangladeshi team. Ben Stokes, on the other hand, returned the salute to our beloved Shakib. But Shakib's little stunt drew laughter and love from the whole country.

FBI suddenly revived an investigation into Hillary Clinton's handling of emails when she was appointed as the Secretary of state of. The secret email server is alleged to be the email server which can be used exclusively by the Secretary of State of USA. This remarkable revival of investigation has stirred a lot of questions on social media and beyond. Republican supporters have claimed that Hillary has disclosed state secrets by carelessly using the secret email server. On the other hand, democrats are raising questions regarding why the FBI didn't look into the recipient of Hillary's email during the first phase of their investigation. 

Rampage at Nasirnagar
Brahmanbaria's Nasirnagar Upazila has become a symbol of barbaric communal violence recently. It was alleged that a Hindu devotee living in Nasirnagar  neighbourhood of Brahmanbaria district posted a photoshopped photo of Hindu god Shiva sitting on the roof of Muslim pilgrimage site, the Holy Kaaba. This news outraged the local Muslim population which soon turned into a violent communal riot. Hundreds of Hindu households and many temples were ransacked and vandalised. This riot has been denounced by the civil society and the district administration and law enforcing agencies faced questions for their inability to tackle the situation. This act of violence is also being condemned all over the social media.
