A Festive Farewell

There are various ways people around the world pay tribute to their deceased king, and the funeral for the Bohmang King that takes place in Bandarban, is a festive affair, to say the least. When any Bohmang Circle King of Bandarban dies, local people convey their condolence and tribute at the death of their beloved King by beating drums, blowing whistles, singing and dancing around the body, as per the ritual.
