Can canopy bridges save the critically endangered hoolock gibbon?
Due to the Dhaka-Sylhet railway and Srimangal-Bhanugach road running through the reserve forest of Lawachara, many of the critically endangered hoolock gibbon species have died in accidents with cars and trains while crossing them. To save the habitat of the species, canopy bridges have been constructed throughout the forest by a team of researchers from Jagannath University.

How did an under-construction flyover turn into a grazing field?
Work of the first flyover in Rajshahi has remained halted for the last three months. For local farmers, the flyover and the adjacent road undergoing expansion have turned into a grazing area for their cows. Because of repeated change in plan, construction of the flyover and the expansion of the 5km road has remained incomplete for the last 8 years.
