11.52 lakh tonnes of mangoes to be produced in 4 northern districts
Mango has been cultivated on 92,913 hectares of land in Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, and Natore districts. The yield per hectare was 12.40 tonnes. The production is estimated to be more than 11.52 lakh tonnes, which is 60 percent of the total production of the country. The value of mangoes produced in the region stood at Tk 8,067 crore
