Why did a couple leave mainland for an isolated char life?
In the river, it looks like a wide desert. This stretch of white sand along the Dharla river in Lalmonirhat cannot be described as devoid of people. Because this char has been the home for a couple in their sixties for the past one and half years. They are the only people who live on this char.
Why did they choose to live in the desert instead of the mainland? How can people pass their days and nights in a place like this? What do they do for enjoyment in their isolated lives?
